Intentionally sharing God's love so people will come to know Christ and serve as disciples for the healing of the world

Thank you everyone for your faithful giving to the Lord!

Pastoral Care Team

We are excited to have individuals who are interested in being a part of our Pastoral Care Team.  Each have participated in training and will be working with specific areas of need.  We will continue with our hospital, nursing home and homebound ministries.  We will also be adding communion ministry for those who can't be at church, reaching out to youth who are going through difficult times, connecting with new comers to the community and also with those who are connected to our church but are not in attending worship services or being a part of other ministries of the church.  There many areas of pastoral care ministry that we hope to expand in to.  If you have an interest in this please contact Pastor Libby or the office.

Topeka Rescue Mission Ministry

Our ministry of serving the Saturday meal at Topeka Rescue Mission will continue this year beginning in March. We are looking for classes, groups or individuals who would like to pick a month to sponsor and take a team. A team can be 4-10 people. The bus is available for use by the larger groups. If you would like to sponsor a month please contact the office.

Ministry Team and Servant Bulletin Board

We have a bulletin board at the back of the sanctuary where we list information about our Ministry Teams such as Missions, Worship, Outreach, Adult Education and Youth Education. Also about servant opportunities that are available within our church. If you have something for your ministry team or a need around the church that you would like to post please bring it by the office. Also please be sure and check out the board once in a while to see what service you can do for the Cause of Jesus Christ.

Safe Gatherings

Certification for those working with kids, elderly or disabled is now online. The Kansas East Conference has begun using the new Safe Gatherings training program, which replaces Safe and Sacred Space training and certification.
Workers and instructors who are currently certified will not be required to take the new Safe Gatherings course until their certification expires. Certified individuals will receive a notification when their certification expires, and they will be required to complete recertification online.
Registration and all aspects of the program, with the exception of some of the background checks, will be completed online.
Assistance will be provided to those who do not have computer access or who are unfamiliar with online learning.
For more information about Safe Gatherings, go to A list of frequently asked questions also is available.
